Hello there, I mainly use myspace for reconnecting with old friends, however if I happen to be browsing thru someone's profile and they look really cool and have the same interests as I do, then I will message them and try to establish a rapport and then add him or her as a friend. Always talk to the person first before deciding to add them as a friend.

You can meet all kinds of people but you have to be careful. Dateline did a show about myspace because of all the sex offenders and rapists that patrol that site looking for women. I wouldn't give out your number or address to any strangers on there.

You definatly can make new friends. I actually met my current girlfriend on myspace. She lived in the area her whole life and I had moved here relativly recently, but it's a good way to make a few friends when you're new to the area.

of course you can but you need to be very carefull. It is always better to meet new people in your town. I have only used myspace for finding old friends. good luck :) and be safe on there.

i jus use to reunite with friends or jus a way to chat wit dem insead of the phone, email, mail. its not a good dea to make friends with peole you dont know because they might be lying and be a child molester, if making friends with some one you dont knoe you should ask for a pic first. ohh k hope this helps, say ill give u my myspace jus send a email to me and ill give it to u ridedatwave13@yahoo.com
