Care if a guy likes a guy and a girl likes a girl, its a choice that we dont get.
I dont like the idea that the community gets slammed by straght people please explain.

Those people that you're referring to are worthless. They're just miserable people who need to feel good about themselves by putting others down. Be yourself & be proud

You live in a christian country, I know you don't like hearing that reality but all you have to do is look at a dollar bill and you are reminded that the values of the country in which you live are connected to the holy bible. That's the truth, regardless of who tries to tell you differently.
With that fact being what it is, most people don't want their kids or loved ones living a lifestyle that is immoral, evil or void of basic Christian teachings.
That's why people care, on the flip side....you also live in a free country. So if you want to tear your family and loved one's apart and be a part of that freak circus...then I guess that's your right. We'll pray for you though. ;-)

I am 49 years old and straight. When I was a teen, gays were really different in our society. It is now so much more prevelent and accepted. Hang in there, change is slow. You will always have your nay sayers, but I believe still in my life time, we will see gay marriage in the majority of states. Forget the bible quoting.
God taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves. He didn't say the neigbors had to be straight. He also taught forgivess. Forgive the ignorant. You got the right idea. Nobody deserves to be slammed. You are alright in my book.

there are tons of false myths and rumors about gays. they think we are all child molesting priests, which of course is not true.. let's do our best to prove to them all that we are normal loving kind sweet people who just happen to be attracted to the same sex...

we, the gays, just started becoming more widly known in recent decades. we r still somewhat new and different 2 the world. most ppl r scared of difference bcuz they can't understand it. i hope that answers ur question.
