No. For two reasons.

01 - If you tried to act like James Dean you would be accused of being a wannabe or a try-hard.

02 - Movie stars simply don't exist like that any more. In James Dean's time, people did not have access to the media like they do now, so it was easy for celebrities to either be mysterious or to achieve God-like status.

Also, you are worrying about problem #2, when you should be more concerned with the problem of actually becoming a movie star in the first place.

I hope not.You never want to be the next anyone. Maybe people say you favor different people but overall I would hope that you develop in a way that makes you unique. Those are the actors that are remembered. Not the copies of other actors.
