Me and my husband have been married for 6 months. For that amount of time everytime we have sex, afterwards I have severe burning for up to thirty minutes. Neither of us have STD's. We were tested for them before we got married. What could cause this and how do I make it go away?

No we are not using a condom. We have used one before and it doesnt burn then. It only burns when he cums. I have thought about it being a yeast infection because I get them frequently. It will clear up then come right back. I have wondered if he might have one too and keeps giving it back to me. But I don't know if men can even get a yeast infection. Thanks for the answers!

We've experienced two things that could apply to you.
The first was a spermicide that we used precisely once. It burned me severely after sex, but because we had been married for about 15 years and had only tried this new stuff once, it was obvious that this was the culprit. We went back to our previous brand and I never had a problem again. (My wife wasn't bothered by this stuff, so I'm assuming it was a sensitivity/allergy that only affected me.)
The second was about two years ago, when my wife went through a stretch of several months during which she was sore during and after sex, and continued to be sore for several days. We treated this as a yeast infection (with over-the-counter remedies), but it didn't get better. Eventually we consulted her doctor and found it was a bacterial infection. A few days' worth of antibiotics took care of the problem and it hasn't returned.
So the moral here is that there are other medical conditions, apart from STDs, that can affect your reproductive health. You should contact your doctor and have some tests run to make sure you don't have a urinary tract infection or other problem. Even if you don't have STDs, you are still subject to other infections.

Because you had no STD 6 months ago does not mean you still don't. I know you don't want to comtemplate the significance of that and I understand.
Try a lubercant like KY gelly. Replens or one of the others on the market.
I would go to my gynacologist there may be something else causing this. Not every infections there is an STD.

Is he using a condom? You may be allergic to the latex, or something on them. If you are using a spermicide it could be from that too, or just not enough lubrication. You really should see a doctor. They will be able to make sure there is no infection, and will also be able to recommend suggestions.

Did you have sex before you were married? Did you have burning then? You could be allergic to your husband's sperm. Try having sex while he's wearing a condom and see if you still get the burn.

You just might need more internal lubercation. More forplay will take care of that. Or you can buy applicators that you can put in lubercation.
You really need to see a doctor if lubercation doesn't work. You shouldn't be feeling so much discomfort.
