You've got knee high, (OTK) over the knee, and thigh high sox. stretchy depends on the meteral and manufacturer.
I'm 5' 11" and I wear a size 8.5 shoe. I like the way womens socks fit. I have a couple of pair of woolen thigh high socks. I love then for hanging out side in the winter.
