I really want one, but dont want to switch networks to get one. Will they ever be out for Verizon? If so, when?

The RIZR NOT RAZR is GSM technology so it requires a sim. You should be able to just buy the phone (without a contract) and take it to your current cellular provider (Verizon) and ask them to make it compatible for their network. Are you sure you really want that phone... it only has a 3.33 hour talk time...

The MOTORIZR is a GSM phone, so, unless they decide to release a CDMA version (which I doubt since they're having problems getting people to migrate to the KRZR with so many cheap RAZRs in the pipeline), buying a RIZR and getting Verizon Wireless to activate it on their network will get you laughed out the door.

my frend has a razr and has verizon... it even says verizon on the phone......... just ask about it... i think my frend has a prepaid tho.. just ask
