when u hear the doorbell ring or home phone ring...do you run to answer?

I actually become startled when the doorbell rings because I never expect anyone over. I do run to the home phone.

i have a caller-id phone that reads off the number that is calling, so when i hear the number, if it's not for me, i let someone else get it. I usually let someone else get the doorbell, even if I know the person is there for me.

Several times. especially after I bought new good headphone, it makes the sound very real. last time I checked Call of duty Black Ops trailer , check it out, it starts with a phone ring. I thought I don't have such ring, why my phone ringing like that. lol

The door I will answer though I don't run because I have a small apt and no need to run plus there is only me and my daughter and she is usually on her cell phone. The home phone is usually off so when it is on and does ring I usually jump, it frightnes me

well the phone is located quite at the far end so answering machine used to get it before I do. I'll answer the doorbell if it's a sexy single man ... jk :):)

I tend to ignore by doorbell, but i do answer my phone. I have a problem with people just stopping by unannounced.

when the phone rings. i don't answer it i let go to voice. as for the door bell. my dog takes care of that. so if someone comes she just starts barking and they just drop and run. unless its family. they just walk in.
