why do parents think if a 16 , 17 or 18 year old boy date their 15, 16 , 17 or 18 year old daughter, the boy just wanna have sex with their daughter .its so annoying because i really like my girlfriend but her dad pisses me off .I argued with him the other day because he pissed me off to the extreme that i ended up having to say bad things and now the reletionship with my girlfriend is not like it used to be.

So why do parents always think we just after sex?

Because many guys ARE after sex. Unfortunately, it is up to you to prove you are not. It is important to get on good terms with her dad. You need to talk to him ..away from everyone. Share with him your true feelings. Show him that you care about her and not her body. Hopefully he will give you a chance. Just don't mess it up by moving too fast. Sitting here typing on Yahoo, you're um..probably not in the mood for sex.. (i guess that depends..haha).. anyway.. when your alone.. and... things take that turn.. get hotter.. etc.. be strong. The worst thing in the world you could do is gain his trust back.. only to betray him. I'm sorry he has caused this problem with your gf.. but give it time. Prove to him your honorable. She will come around. I am the mother of 25, 23, 20 and 13 yr old daughters.. not all mothers think ALL guys are out for a piece.. but experience indicates.. many guys (and girls for that matter) are.....Best of Luck!!

Because most teenage boys have nothing on their minds but sex! Her parents are just doing their job and protecting their daughter.
Just stay away for a while - let things cool down. If she's still interested in you - then, before you can date her, you must apologize to her father. Spend time with her, in front of her parents and show them how you really feel. Once they're comfortable with you again - just take it slow and do NOT argue with her father ever again.
If she's not interested in you anymore - then just mark this up to experience. Learn from your mistakes and do NOT repeat them.

Dads are that way with their daughters. They trust no one, and rightfully so in most cases. You are the boyfriend, not part of the family, and even if you were, it's HER father and you shouldn't have shown disrespect by mouthing off at him like that. Not only do you not score any points with the parents, but you have shown your girlfriend a side of you that is making her rethink her decision to date you.

Next time, keep your cool, no matter what.

The father is just protecting his daughter, thats what fathers do. There are a lot of guys out there that are dating girls for just that reason, so it makes sense to me that he might be a little cautious. If you have nothing planned, then don't worry about it and just get to know if better and show him that he can trust you.

at that age that is what not just guy but girls to think of but most people think that the guy is the only one thinking in that manner as for her dad like it or not just apologize to him and tell him that you really like (don't say love) her daughter for who she is and you will respect him and her and not sleep with her you just want to get to know her for who she is and you yourself are not ready to be a father so you are not ready to sex even if he does not forgive you your girl friend will cause you at least tried

Because they love there children. And because they remeber the way they was way back then or from what they've seen and juge you off that. Look Apologize to her and her father ( mother to ) and explane that alls you want is a chance to show your diffrent from other guys.

Parents Just Dont Understand!

let me get this straight.....
you argued with her father?
you were so pissed off that you HAD to say bad things?
and now your relationship with your girlfriend is "not like it used to be"?
if i was her father she certainly would not be seeing you again ever!!!
parents were not always parents you know. they were once teenagers too.
all teenagers are maturing and sexual feelings come in to play at that time.
if you can not controul your mouth how can her father think you can countroul your actions. any of your actions sexual or not!!!

Ok, I think you guys are way too young for sex. Her dad is obviously overprotective.....but not totally off. I say you make it clear that you won't be having sex, and don't fight with him. Good luck!
