then why do liberals want to take guns from law abiding citizens

That would depend on who's behind the gun and if it was pointed at the "liberal." Furthermore, if a liberal owned a gun, or several, and knew how to use them and used them for useful purposes and was prudent in the use of said guns - then I suspect a liberal wouldn't be afraid of much.

All liberals don't want to take guns away from law abiding (key phrase here) citizens. Only the media, particularly right wing radio personalities, push this ntotion. Lots of liberals have guns. They hunt with them.

Our Bill of Rights allowed that we could own guns so that our gov't would never become so powerful as to make us subjects rather than citizens - and so that we could hunt. Kind of a scary thought, if you think of it. Basically, the way the Bill of Rights was set up it gave it's citizens a system of checks and balances by allowing them to revolt and overthrow any gov't that would seek to turn its citizens (participants) into subjects.

LoL .good question...lol...I think most of them have not been a victim of crime.maybe im wrong.
