Yes. Not only our country,every country needs politicians.
Our experience shows that whenever there is a calamity,it is the politician who reaches there first,and not the IAS and IPS officers,
It is because of their pressure that the govt machinery works.
The politicians may be bad,but they are like a bitter pill needed by us to get relief.

yes we need good politicians. many times they get in just because they are popular and people don't know better when they vote. that's when it sucks.
