As any other drug or substance would do to an unborn baby. Of course it depends on the quantity. If you only have a glass of wine with dinner not too much damage would be done but I wouldnt make a habit out of it. Excessive drinking can harm your baby by as you are not giving it any nutritional requirements that are needed for babies healthy developement. It is known that alcohol is the cause of many babys being born with low birth weight and possibly being born prematurely. If you suspect you are pregnant I suggest you stop drinking alcohol till you find out for sure whether you are prenant or not. Causing damage to an unborn baby is not worth the risk.

If you drink a small amount in the first month generally nothing happens. Before I ever knew I was pregnant with my son {he's 8 months now} I had a few drinks, though I'm not normally a drinker but it was labor day weekend and my friend was like "come on have one with us" so I did, it was not hard stuff though. Hell I had no idea I was pregnant I mean we had been trying for damn near 10 yrs naturally with no success. And lo and behold I was pregnant I told my OB and he said there was nothing to worry about since it wasnt an excessive amount. My son is healthy and developing ahead of his gestational age.

More than likely, nothing. Most doctors will tell you not to owrry about anything that you did before you found out that you were pregnant. There's nothing that you can do about it, at this point, anyways.
Don't drink any more, though, as doctors are not sure how much alcohol really causes fetal alcohol syndrome. Congrats, and good luck.

Probably nothing as long as you aren't binge drinking every day. The first 6 weeks of pregnancy is a critical development time.

your fertilised little egg will be fine as it is very well protected by the body and is virtually impenetrable, until the fertilised egg passes down to the uterus it is more susceptible of what you put into your mouth

technically your baby could get fetal alcohol syndrom- but its not likely very early in pregnancy.... but dont risk it once you know you are pregnant- and if you thnk you may be i would suggest not risking it as well.
