I am going to get a new phone soon, and I cant decide between alltel prepaid, or go with my parents and get a family plan from Verizon. Either way, I will probably get the Razr, or the Krazr, but I need to know which network to get. Thanks guys!

Oh, this is off topic, but does anyone know what network has the Rizr? They look cool!

Verizon is better in my opinion, they have decent plans and good customer service.

The Rizr is being offered by Tmobile.

There are benefits and downfalls of prepaid Alltel. Obviously, going on your parents plan you will be locked into a contract for 2 years. The razr is more expensive on prepaid with Alltel but you have no contract. Since you already have a phone you can start a regular plan with Alltel at some point without a contract. Alltel is the ONLY carrier that lets you not sign a contract if you pay full price or bring in a phone. Keep that in mind also. The 69.99 prepaid plan with Alltel gives you 700 min. unlimited alltel mobile to mobile. Unlimited nights and weekends starting at 9pm. Unlimited Text messaging. You can also pay $5 and get a Most often called number (any number you want that you can make unlimited calls 2)

I like Verizon. I have been using them for a while and though there have been some conflicts, they have all been resolved reasonably. Plus I like that call forwarding is included and there is no per/minute charge. Sometimes when my battery is running down I just forward my calls to another phone to save juice.

i think of verizon because of the fact my mom asked to get a clean telephone and he or she had i think of to love wait a protracted time and sign a clean settlement or some thing undesirable like that so i could elect something different than verizon!!
