Non-Americans, what would make you respect America again?

I just read that america's global popularity has become even worse. What changes would you want to see in the American govt/foreign policy that would cause you to respect or tolerate America again?

i can't believe i'm agreeing with whiteballsonchin, but he/she(i can't tell which) is absolutely right. we will never be globally popular because the rest of the world will always envy us. we saved europe from nazi rule in WW2, did that make us popular? no. we give 10 times more humanitarian aid to the needy than any other country on earth, does that make us popular? no.

@azerlee: the day we stop supporting israel will be the day we cease to exist. they are the closest ally we have on this planet, and we would defend their land as if it were our own.

and to the person who asked this question: grow a pair, will ya? we did not become the great nation we are today by altering our policies to appease the world community.
