no, the cocoons are always there, but right BEFORE you get nervous, the butterflies are born.

surely no longer. there is not any connection between a guy or woman having a worried emotion and having a shielding case of silk or comparable fibrous textile spun via larvae of bugs on your abdomen!

not only cocoons, they also got larvaes and catterpillars too. before they turn into butterflies.

That might be how it happens, sure! The other way it could happen is if they swallow the butterflies first.
