Isn't this why they are being abandoned from coast to coast? They are pure evil in every sense of the word.

I make more money than many neo-cons. Does that make me better than them? No, it just allows me to live comfortably.

In a historical book I read, a poor woman once gave two coins as an offering while the rich gave thousands. The poor woman's offering was thought of more highly versus the excess of the wealthy. Duke Cunningham made tons of money, yet he is a thief. Mark Fowley made tons of money, yet he preyed on teenage boys.

I detest neo-cons

"Neoconservatism" is a political movement, mainly in the United States, which is generally held to have emerged in the 1960s, coalesced in the 1970s, and has had a significant presence in the administration of George W. Bush.

Someone tell the "speaker got no clue" below to reread his/her previous post. His/her opinion really doesn't matter as they are a dying breed. Goodbye. Good riddance. Go make money and tell all min wage earners that they are "lazy" and "don't want to make anything of themselves" .

Thanks to these repubs-in-name-only, the "libs" that they hate so well are back in power. Although I'm not a lib, anything beats a neonatzi-con.

I say live and let live. I don't think I'm "better" than someone who makes less than me. Fact is, I don't CARE who makes what amount of money.

But I make a good living, and I plan to do VERY WELL. And I will have NO GUILT about that. While I'm sunning on my yacht, I'll rub a lucky rabbit's foot and say a prayer for all the minimum wage workers. Maybe I'll even cry for them. Here goes: BOO HOO HOO. There, I feel better now.

The coins were a measure of how much God valued the woman's sacrifice.

Wealth is a measure of how much people value the good or service a person provides to other people. ie. how much service they can be to others. Presumably, if more is given to the producer, it means that they value that service more or it has been produced for more people.

Conservative leaning people want to provide for others in the most efficient way, to give them the best value for what they have to give in return.

God will value a wealthy man's charitable sacrifice if he respects God and gives generously in porportion to what he has earned. (And if he gives for the right reasons). There is room for altruistic giving to those who can never produce anything that others value.
.
Liberals like general lack of organization, fuzzy logic, confusion, lots of gray areas, bafflegab, and general chaos in order to confuse people and tilt the tables in their own favor, without having to give something of value in return.

Ha ha ha ha...you're a fool.

Money doesn't make a person better than anyone.

The desire to make something of yourself (getting an education and working hard and sacrificing to get out of poverty) and not be handed something (higher wage for flipping burgers) makes a person better than another.

Edit: OH NO!!!!!!!! True Grit thinks that he/she hurt my feelings! I need the ACLU to take up a case for me! I'm going to complain to my congressperson and tell on them. Worse yet, I'll report them to Yahoo! Answers! BOO FRICKETY HOO!!!!!! I don't care about you either, son. Go away now, you bother me.

Get a clue, use logic, not just emotions in your arguments.
