Who in their right mind would want to coach the Cowboys? I know, let T.O. coach!! That's about your speed.

It depends what Jerry Jones is willing to give up. Cowher is technically still under contract to Pittsburgh through next season so the Cowboys would have to compensate the Steelers if they signed him. Also, it is highly unlikely that Cowher will coach again for at least 2 years.

I think Jerry Jones should hire Day Rooney of the Steelers
to hire a coach for him. He had the best.. Jimmy Johnson
but poor misguided Jerry foolishly thought that he not Johnson
was the real coach. What a Dumb F***..
He will never come up with a great coach ,because he is a
know it all . Do you think he got his moneys worth from T.O.
this year? Mark my words as long as Jerry runs the Cowboys
they will always be also runs.

IMO, and this why I am pulling for the Bears, I think Jones will go after Lovie Smith. Smith is the lowest paid coach in the NFL, and I don't believe he is under contract with the Bears for next year. A win would up his worht even more. If they win, obviously the Bears will throw more money at him. But, Jones can likely outbid the Bears. Does it necessarily mean Lovie leaves Chicago? No, but with the right offer, he just may.

Why does everyone thing Jim Johnson was such a great coach.
Tom Landry put most of that offense together and when trade traded Herschel walker they got draft pick to get a defense. He went to Miami a playoff team and could not do anything.
Jerry Jone run that team from day one he is the reason that have they have one. Jerry Jone only made 2 mistakes. One was firing Laundry and Hiring Parcel. They need a coach that will continue his system. It will take 2 or 3 season to change their offense and defense.

Cowher is not gonna do anything related to football until at least 2008. He wants to take atleast a year off. That's why he bought a new house in North Carolina.

what are you talking about? Bill Cower has retired and will never coach again. Do you think that he would leave Pittsburgh after all of those years and then go coach in Dallas? No way.

I don't really think so.Jerry Jones was in Fayetteville Arkansas today talking with Houston Nut(coach for the Arkansas razorbacks)trying to hire him.I wish he'd take the son of a ----- back with him along with Frank Broyles and his oxygen tank so we can get our football program back to where it's capable of being;only I like Dallas and I wouldn't wish Houston Nutt on my worst team.i.e.New england. HOW BOUT THEM BEARS!!

Kinda pissed that the tuna screwed us over like that...waiting so long. Look at the good coaching prosepcts out there that signed in the past couple of weeks that we missed out on. I wouldn;t mind seeing cower come to Dallas at all

I hope not, he's isn't the right coach for Dallas. I wish Mike Holmgren would get out of Seattle and go to Dallas.
Peace

I dont think so. Cowher is going to stay away from football for at least a year (he will probably come back at some point). Not this soon though, and not to that team.
