Does anyone have dreams bout not being able to breath.?

I was wondering if anyone has dreams about not be able to breath. Does anyone know what this dream means. They have been happening 2 or 3 times a week now almost a month. Really having a hard time falling asleep also. Stress is no more than usual. Thanks

I used to always have dreams where I would dive into the water and I wouldn't be able to make it back to the surface before I lost my breathe. I would wake up out of breathe and soaking wet with sweat. I haven't had that dream in years but I used to have it often.

these were the types of dreams that ppl of the olden times would blame succubus'--night daemons--for. You're not just congested are you? I remember having a dream like that when i had a cold and i actually dreamed this ugly gargoyle was sitting on top of my chest strangling me.

I have 3 recommendations. a million. attempt taking sleep medicine, that way you get relax. 2. a nap diary (very corny) when you awaken attempt jotting down the outline, perhaps it would help you. 3. it appears like a hallucination (im no longer professional so i'd be incorrect) i counsel seeing a professional as well.

Ya, happened before. Where I'm dreaming I'm suffocating, then it turns out its only my pillow smooched on top of my head not letting me breath. xP
