I am going to Tokyo, Tome, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima, and Yanagawa. So far, I want to go to Harajuku, Puroland (Sanrio themepark in Tokyo), and... thats about it! Can you tell me some things I should do? (foods to try, places to go, shopping districts, ect.) I don't need to much to do for Nara and Hiroshima, because my school is doing a big planned tour for that, but I need to find some interesting things to ask my homestays to take me to in Tokyo, Yanagawa, and Tome. (Tome is a fairly small town, its in the country, and I doubt you'll find interesting things to do there, hahaha.)

If you've been to Disney Land before, you should go to Tokyo Disney Land and Disney sea . there are many differences between here and Japanese Disney. I'm sure you'll like Japanese one rather than America.
You also should go to Tokyo tower!

If you're athletic, then climb Fuji Mt. Though in winter it's challenging (very cold up there). But what an experience. Since it's a manifestation of the Japanese spirit, climbing the mountain is a once in a lifetime experience for foreigners not living there.

u should hit up the tokyo disney land and disney sea, go to ueno park, harajuku, yokohama, n theres this place in yokohama which i forgot the name but it is a public bath that is indoors and outdoors and the indoors is connected to a building which inside the building is a replica of the old japanese towns n everyone who goes there must wear those japanese kimono robes. it has a lot of cute things to do, n it feels like you stepped back in time, i really recommend that for you. also go to ginza, asakusa, n when u go to asakusa go to the hanayashiki, its an old mini amusment park. just go anywhere in Tokyo, it will be fun no matter where you go. have fun.

Well, if it's Tome, Miyagi you will be handy to Ishinomaki. In Ishnomaki there is a reproduction of the ship Date Masamune sent on a mission to Rome in 1613, a huge fish market, and a whaling museum (with a restaurant!).

The best is Tokyo, beautiful amazing building, lights and shoppers. See our culture expand, and the food is great, try the Kobe Steak with exotic raw sushi. ENJOY
