PlayStation 3 OR Xbox 360??

Question

Alright so the PS3 has an xbox live type online gaming system called PlayStation Network that is free. It has free access to the internet and the store which u can buy millions of ps and ps2 games from. So why does EVERYONE who has an Xbox 360 say that PS3's SUCK?! They have much better graphics which has been proved numerous times and is goin to have more games. Who cares about Halo 3? I agree that Gears Of War and Halo 3 are amazing games but still look past that and give me a good answer. _thanx for the feedback.

and games... resistance and metal gear solid 4 for ps3. halo 3 and gears of war for 360

i have a 360 and wii. i love both. but i got one of the first 360s so its messed up. but id take a ps3 if i had to choose one. bluray player and great graphics and motion sensor for some games. but its just too expensive and wasnt the first to come out.

The basic answer is time. You can buy a PS3 right now, but it may not work very well, and the games you get for it are already on the xbox 360 cheap rack. Maybe in 8 months, playstation will fix a lot of problems with the ps3, new developers will learn how to make games for it -but the graphics -basic on reviews in magizines- are that they're virtually the same right now.

If you want to wait 8 months to get the ps3, than maybe it will be the best choice, but if you buy a system this weekend, right now, I'd give it to the xbox 360.

Well they are both good but I think the Xbox 360 is just a little better. I really don't think the graphics look much different. Also, PS3 price is ridiculous. You say online is free but your also paying an extra $200 for a PS3. 360 has a better selection of games at the time and has more "big name" titles like Gears of War, Halo, Lost Planet, etc...PS3 is a good system but I'll stick with my 360.

I have both the 360 and PS3. I believe that the 360 is the best because it has allot of great games and the graphics are also great and you can also get people banned for cheating which really matters for hardcore gamers. I just bought Fall Of Man Resistance for PS3 which was not all that great I beat it but it seemed like every level was the same. Now I am not saying the PS3 is not good but for now if I were someone else I would wait a while till allot of games start to come out to buy it.

I own a 360 and an x-box and love to play both but it seems to me that 360 is the better deal. I was skeptical at first but when i heard that gta 4 and a few other games that were said to be exclusive for the PS3 were also going to be on 360 swayed me to the 360. I know more people on x-box live than people on the PS3 network and you can play games like halo 2 on 360 also. But I do admit that i would love to get PS3 if it didn't cost so much. X-Box 360 is more bang for your buck in my opinion.

360 fans say ps3 sux cuz its all about product loyalty. ppl with a certain system would say their system is better because its what they chose. same wit ps3 fans saying 360 sucks cuz they believe ps3 is better. but its all on personal opinion.

i personally chose ps3 cuz im used to playstation, so all the games im used to playing is on ps like final fantasy, and metal gear. plus i think it the console looks great, very luxurious looking.

i believe that in the future, ps3 should be better cuz its theoretically more powerful, but who really knows.

i do have to admit that 360 has better games right now that are out, but they did have a year headstart, and their launch titles werent that good as well.

ps3 includes a bluray player and u can watch high def movies. if u dont care for high def movies, then u would be wasting that on ps3. for the 360 u can buy it as an add on for 200bucks

if u r willing to wait for a year or so to play good games, ps3 is a good choice, but if u cant wait, 360 is ur console

well the playstation online crap doens't keep records and statistics for you like xbox does.. and xbox you can reserve a name that you and only you can use... and xbox requires that you have dsl, cable, or better.. playstation doesnt.

and in my opinion i like xbox better for several reasons.. 1 you dont have to buy expensive memory cards that don't really save a lot of data.. xbox has a built in memory system for that and can save huge amounts of data.. even music.. I do not believe ps3 has better graphics than xbox.. in my opinion its based on the game really but overall they are very close even at the extremes.. also with the xbox you dont have to buy an adapter to be able to play 4 players.. automatically has 4 controller ports.

Playstation 2 had the advantage over xbox in one area which was the majority of games.. but since the popularity of xbox grew, and now xbox 360 has the popularity xbox didn't have when it first came out.. i believe that ps3 won't have that advantage over the 360.

The PS3 only has free online gaming because it cost so much. Also, PS games aren't as good as Xbox, for example you mentioned Gears of War and Halo.

it has to be free there nothing really it offers. the developer has the server not sony. on xbox live microsoft has the server ready and u have one gt for all the games so u can see what ur friends are playing and doing. it also has a more stuff than ps3 online. thats why it costs money. i know because i have both and xbox live is a lot more convenient.
