my friend keeps calling, a Neo-goth I have no Idea what that is?

Neo-goth is a term that is usually applied to music that people think is goth, but doesn't really sound like the older goth music, or adhere to the same sense of aesthetics. Evanescence, AFI, and other stuff like that would be meant by such a term.
If your friend is talking about people, well, it's a term I haven't personally heard applied, but it would make sense to indicate a person who listens to the above type of music- a younger goth, as it were. Someone we fossils refer to as a "baby bat". It does not indicate a futuristic style goth- those are cyber goths or rivetheads.
