All depends on the virus. If the virus is a Trojan, then there is a pretty good chance that information could already be stolen from your computer. It does not matter what websites you visit because a Trojan virus does not need the web browser to get info from your computer.

I would definitely get some sort of virus protection software for your computer right now. AVG has a free home version of their software at http://www.grisoft.com . Try downloading and installing it. If it does not get rid of the virus you will probably have to reformat your hard drive and re-install everything.

If the bug inside of your system is a Trojan, yes, in fact, you don't even need to go anywhere and the Trojan will "phone home" the info to the person who sunk the bug onto your system.
