K, It might be in the way you are applying your mascara too. I wouldn't use a curler because extended use using a curler will break of your lashes. When I run out of my MK Ulitimate Mascara I love the stuff, lengthens and thickens. I go to the good old Maybeline Pink Tube, It's been around FOREVER, almost literally, and there's a reason....You can get any type of applicator that you like with it, I prefer the curved tip. Start at the base of your lashes and move the brush back and forth, but instead of coming straight out with the applicator go up, almost parallel with your eyelid, this will curl your lashes up without using a curler. Make sure to apply Mascara to all of your lashes also, some people only put it on the outer corner, and that's a completely different look. Also use a darker eyeshadow around your lashline and blend it to give it the smokier look that she has right around her lashes. If you use eyeliner put it right above your upper lash about 3/4 of the way in, and under your lower lash about 1/2 way, smudge with your finger tip.

Eye open under the faucet...pull the eyelid away GENTLY and allow the water to rinse it out. If that doesn't work, then most likely you've actually scratched the cornea, which means you should see a doc and they'll give you a little ointment to heal it up.

Take clean, fresh "hankie" and roll it up so it has a small point on it made from the center of the hankie. Roll your eye around and round. The hair will finally come out so you can see it. When you do see it, use the hankie point to touch it and it will lift off on the hankie. The soft hankie won't harm your eye. Good luck!

Washing the eye under a water faucet is the easiest way to relieve objects in the eye..otherwise it is annoying to sit there with something in your eye.

You may have to have someone look for you. But an irritated eye can feel as though something is in it too. You could try some visine to wash it out with.

take a warm or hot shower and aim the spray at your eyes at a pressure you can stand. I do this every morning and rarely have that problem.

Close your eyes and roll your eyeballs around.
Eventually, the lash will come out on it's own.
Don't rub it.
