I have been to a rheumatologist and basically all she told me was I did not have RA. I have extreme fatique and problems with muscle aches. I do have osteopena and have degenerative disc disease. I am at a loss as to what I should do now. I work in a fast paced, phycial environment and by the end of my shift I am exhausted and have no energy left to do much else for the day. I try to get between 7-8 hours of sleep a day. I am 50 years old, 5'1",and weigh 100 lbs. I have been tested for thyroid disoder and that is negative.

Have your Dr. run tests for Fibormyalgia. It attacks the muscles also, and takes away your energy. I was diagnosed with it over 10 years ago. It can be painful in the joints too, and might keep you awake at times. Good luck.. I had a blood test that confirmed Fibromyalgia.

thank god you do not have RA that is a vicious disease have you got any nodules on your joints another sign of RA you prob. are just suffering from the other things you have your best bet is to get a script for sleeping pills so you can get what they call restorative sleep that means enough sleep so the body repairs itself. i hope you find some relief.
