Make sure to include something that distinguishes between Socially Acceptable and Politically Correct. Many people today get caught doing things that are acceptable at home and with friends but forget they are offensive to others.

Define which set of business ethics you are going to write about. I teach a college course and every semester someone comes up with this, Your topic is too broad. Choose ethical customer service, ethical hiring practices, ethical advertising, ethical environemental impact etc. NARROW it down. Once you have focused, research and make a statement that is arguable but provable with the research you have found, such as "Ethical employee rules increase productivity in the workplace" then prove it.
