I know I will get alot of negative answers. But oh well. I just watched hidden camera footage of how animals are tortured and killed at slaughterhouses. They live in dirty,, small places,They are beaten and castarated, thrown against floors, get bullets shot into their heads, burned alive. How can we do this to animals? We kill them to eat to help us "survive" so why cant we show them a little darn respect? I know most people dont like Muslims, but at least in their culture, they treat their animals fine and they pray for the animals before they die and they do it so the pain is very swift. Why cant we do that? Why do we have to make these animals suffer? I eat meat and I think it is ok to eat meat, but I dont think it is fair to abuse the meat we eat. The government allows cancer infected cows to still go to the slaughterhouse so that in return we eat that. I dont know if I personally want to eat anymore. I think this is so sick and I dont understand why we have to do this?

I agree there is no reason they have to treat animals the way they do. I also eat meat. I don't think the meat is any higher quality when the animal is treated in that way. But it's all about speed these days faster this and faster that. So it takes more time to treat animals well then to just throw them and kill them. Sad place we live. Isn't it!

I have worked in slaughter houses and have known both kinds of people. Those that are cruel and those that try hard to do a merciful job. The only analogy I can draw to this is that certain defective people look for jobs where they can be cruel and not pay for their bad behavior. Child molesters look for jobs where they have access to children. The industry should police the kill floors but it may be hard to keep people in those jobs. Until we can rewire the human genome we will probably be stuck with sadistic bastards.

Humans are the worst animals on earth!
We are cruel, selfish and greedy. Not all but lots of us.
I ask myself the same question all the time and wish that someone would come up with the answer...
Just try to be kind and giving. Try to be positive. Do not wear fur!

Because a lot of peope don't care about animals at all, and they just think something looks pretty but they don't realize what they are putting the animal through by getting the "instyle jacket" for this season.

I can't watch show like that it just breaks my heart. I want to go there and save all the animals and bring them home with me. Plus I then want to treat the people that were mistreating these animals the same way.

Amen to everything you said! There is no need for this cruelty. God made these creatures and we should not treat them in this manner.
I think the one thing that makes me angrier than anything else in the world (besides speaking against God, the Trinity or anything in the Bible) is animal cruelty.

It is disgraceful the way animals are treated, the governments are to blame they can easily make it illegal to kill animals this way, but money talks I'm afraid

I don't understand at all why people can be so cruel to animals. I hope that one day it will be illegal to test on animals and such and put bad chemicals in them.

time is money and i guess they just dont have the time(or energy) to care for each animal individually.
if you hate it so much, then become a vegetarian.
