Would be considered short for my genetration (i'm 47) I'm 6-1.5 and the second shortest in my family (4 other brothers.. one tops out at about 7 ft).. and was kindda short for my peers in school... But i have noticed over the years that males seem to be shorter than they used to be, as i'm taller than most younger than myself.. so it may be quite normal for your generation...

Depends on who you ask. I have always thought that 5'8" was within the average range for a man, maybe on the short side of average. But I dunno. I'm 5'8." W/e.
