You can say anything religious or political in school just as long as it has nothing to do with Christianity or Conservativism... unfortunately.

The rules are a little complex. Students can say pretty much whatever they want, as long as they do it in a respectful and nonthreatening way. Teachers are much more restricted. This is to protect people who are under their power, so that students don't feel coerced or threatened because they have different views. Thus, teachers are not supposed to say anything about religion or politics, or if they do so it should be in the context of a specific class and neutral in view (not expressing their own beliefs). At the university level, there's a little more freedom, but the standard is still quite important.

The earthly reason? Because people want to do what they want, and despite the fact that they say they don't believe the bible, God's word has power, and they are afraid of it. To abolish God's truth from school (and you'll notice that other political, sexual, etc. points of view are allowed), means to allow people to live whatever way they think will satisfy them, no matter who it hurts or oppresses.
The spiritual reason? Because Satan knows his time is short. To abolish religious matters from school means to take away God's loving boundaries for his creation, opening a door to chaos, otherwise known as 'license'.
But God still loves the people trying to squash the freedom of speech of Christians and those with political interests.
Maybe if people worked on strengthening themselves physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally with truth, they wouldn't have such thin skin, would be more confident in the wonderful creations they are, and not be so fearful of others' opinions.

Because enough liberals have claimed separation of church and state is in the constitution and now people believe it. The constitution says we will not create a theocracy. It says nothing of separation of church and state. When they took religion out of school the supreme court had zero preferences. Christians kept their mouth's shut and lost. Evil triumphs when good people do nothing.

I think maybe the political and religious matters are so sensitive so it is not allowed to be discussed in school. The pupils are no grown up enough for discussing those affairs and their knowledges are so limited. But in the university I think we can discuss it.
