Not just can be, it should be. They are happier and healthier. It MAY help the humping, but don't bet on it. It should help at least some.

Be sure the vet you choose specializes in rabbits. They are much different than cats and dogs.

You should fix him. He will be healthier. As for not humping things, I don't know. It depends on the rabbit's personallity. All my males are fixed. They stop spraying and smelling bad when they are fixed! Thumbs Up for getting him Fixed! It really helps! If he has two "sacks" On each side of a puff ball. He is old enough.---Sorry, didn't know how to explain it. I think 4monthe is old enough. Maybe six. Ask your vet. If he looks sexually mature enough, he can be fixed.

Yes they can and yes it will stop most of the humping. Keep in mind if he's with another animal, humping is also used to show dominance so you may still see him doing it sometimes.

Also if he's with a female that is not spayed it's best to keep them separate for about 6 weeks as it takes that long for the sperm to clear out completely.

Yes. Neutering your bunny will help with the humping, spraying, and improve his litter box habits. It can take from 30 - 90 days for his hormones to calm down (some quicker).
Be sure you take your bunny to a rabbit savvy vet and that the vet sends you home with pain medicine for about 3 days. You might not need it, but better to be safe than sorry.
If you don't have a rabbit savvy vet, check out www.rabbit.org for a list and questions to ask the vet to be sure he or she is really qualified.
Good luck

YES!!! that is a fantastic idea!!!!! i would call the vet as soon as possible to set up the appointment----just make SURE the vet has had experience with rabbits. they are little different than cats and dogs and unless your vet has done this before WALK AWAY!! he will be such a better bunny when it is done. if you happen to get him a friend--good idea-- dont be scared when he "humps" the friend and the other way around. they will do that forever. they just are trying to say that they are "top" bunny.

I am sure you can, I ask the vet about fixing our rat, because his balls are HUGE, but he didnt want to, they only live like 3 years anyway, just put him in a box.
