he's enthused,,, us men love to hoot and hollow,, jump up and down. We get excited 'cause it brings us to our childhood from when we played sports as kids It keeps us young and dreaming. Wishing we were able to do that, but knowing we can't. So please don't spit on our parade just cause we want to be kids again.we are enthused cause we can't play anymore but our team tries to take itto the next level, we do take it to the next level, cause we are kids at heart.

People behaved in a similar way when Shakespears plays were first shown. Do you want to show your finesse and have a pop at the Bard and his fans. Shakespeare wrote plays to entertain people and that is also what football is about. You only have to look at Chelsea this year for tragedy and triumph, furtive asides, pompous soliloquies, spurious acting performances, thuggery, war and some of the main players not quite strutting the stage as we might of expected.
Don't whatever you do, suggest they break a leg.
If you want to pick on a sport pick on darts, now there really is a "sport" that is getting beyond its station.

As a man and a football fan I completely agree but many humans (women too) prefer to stay immature as it's comfortable to be a kid always. We wear uniforms to the game in the secret hope that every players will be injured and the coach will spot the 40 year old eating nachos in a team jersey and yell "U number 80 get in the game!"

No matter how old you are someone judges you for feeling younger than you look. But, on the opposite side of things.
I'm tired of people my age who say, "Oh I'm getting old."
Now, that's pathetic.
I say, "Where's the bloody pub after the game?"
