I know that when I talk I sound a lot different to myself than I do to everyone else. have you ever heard yourself on an answering machine? Way different. it is the same way with singing. just buy a tape recorder and record yourself singing.

Good Luck!

well i can only answer this question from personal experience...i have recoreded my voice on a fairly good 8 track wave recorder...i think i sound good and ppl tell me i sound good...but i listen to the recording and it sounds like ****...and trust me im not one of those american idol fags who suck, but once you go in and play with you voice on a computer with good software.....it can sound good.....i hope i answered the question fairly well, but some people hear what they want to hear....and im not you soo no one will ever know!

no,which is why when people sing, they wear headphones or ear pieces.ever heard your voice on a voice mail? sounds different then the way you hear it in your head.

your voice sounds slightly different to other people than it will to you while you are singing. If you record your voice and listen to it - even talking - you will think that it doesn't sound like you.

If other people have complimented you on your ability to sing - you have no worries.

not at all. unless you play music you will most likely think ur right on. You have to think about pitch tone and the note its hard ****. But dont quit!!! use a piano thats what i do and just get your voice used to intervals on the piano.

You should (if you dont have a voice recorder) Ask your friends how you sing and make shure there being truthfull

Everyone always hears something different. whenever i hear myself sing, it sounds totally different then when i'm actually singing.
