I have an old i think swiss (it has a cross on it and i got it in switzerland) Flashlight. It has a round lens with a flip up lens cover. The cover is made to shine directly to the ground when closed so you can see at night and not be seen hundreds of yards away. It has two bulbs which are not blown. It has a switch on top where you can switch it on and off, plus if you set it in the middle its made where you can press down to turn the light on and release to turn off. I have had this for years in my box of old "junk".

Anyone with knowledge of this light please let me know. If you email me i will try to take pics of it. I know its very old because I got it from a man in switzerland who said someone in his family used it in ww1. He gave it to me because I am a soldier in the US Army and was trying to ask about it.

Please help, i would like to know more about this light and what it might be worth.

Thanks

Check to see if it has a date on it. You may have a flashlight from WWII as the Germans and the Swiss similar flashlights in the First and Second World Wars. Also look for someplace that will give you a spec number mo military will issue an item without one Then take it to a Military Collector who can appraise it. That's the only way to know what you have.
Good luck
