Some people have asked if it's easier to be a woman, or if it's easier to be a man. Usually the answers tend to be mixed.

So I'll just list a few "advantages", and two disadvantages:

Obviously, men don't have periods, cramps, bloating, PMS, etc.

Women have a better chance of using sex as power/control.

Men are usually faster, stronger, and taller than women.

Women get a lot of free passes, like pay less money or no money at clubs, don't have to pay for drinks, usually don't have to pay on dates, etc. Usually the man supports her.

Men generally have a faster metabolism and lower percentage body fat -- women are more prone to being fat, and get cellulite thighs and butts as well.

Women have less restrictions on what they can wear. They can dress feminine or masculine without getting ridiculed.

Men usually make more money and get higher positions.

Women are twice as likely to suffer from depression and anxiety.

Men are more prone to being alcoholics

Women's life expectancy is, on average, 3 years greater than men's.

The most common term in the obituary column is:

"SURVIVED BY WIFE."

I think that settles if.

Wouldn't it be great if it were that simple? ha I personally do not feel that either gender has a 'one up' on the other. I'm a female and for every negative thing about being a female I can equal it with a negative issue if I were a man.

I believe both genders have the capability of being whatever they want to be. Is there discrimination still? Sure there is...always will be...bias isn't a disease that can be cured with a pill anymore than stupid is. But, no, I do not believe men have 'it' any better than woman unless a woman choses to be less than she can be.

Perhaps you have to focus the question a bit better. Do men or women have it easier doing what? Hooking up with people in bars - advantage probably women. Becoming a successful professional athlete - advantage probably men.

Becoming CEO of a fortune-500 company - men.

so to cap it all...

women: parasitic, lazy, mental/physical problems & fat.

men: generous, caring, strong, breadwinners, healthy.

is this the way you see men and women?

wow. I would be hardpressed to disagree. Its just that I've never seen anyone with the courage to come out and say these truths.
while I'm sure some will fervently disagree, I applaude your audacity to bring these things to light.

Gay men have it easier. They get to act like women, without the pain.

MEN FEEL PRESSURE, KNOWING THAT THEY HAVE TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR FAMILIES, AND ALSO IN THE BUSINESS WORLD, THEY HAVE HARDER COMPETITORS.
