OK, this is a hypothetical question for me, but real for some people.

I am a calm type of person. I never resort to physical action in any situation. I wanna know what should i do if my girlfriend started taking advantage of my calmness & resorted to physically abusing me for even the pettiest things that I did wrong? It is not in my nature to hit back, so should i call the cops & get her arrested for assault?

Would my girlfriend be able to get away with it, because females usually have the upper hand in all these type of situations?

Don`t hit her back...and then have the police photograph your DEFENSIVE wounds. You can then get her arrested.

Honey, if your girlie hitz you don't call the police but LEAVE HER AZZ!!
Don't look back, change your # everything!! It's not normal to hit on ANYONE and dont' you take it either!! I feel you should not call the police because you are aware of the potential threat....you're just waiting for the bomb to explode and that's not fair to her.
So, if you're not gonna end this trip at the next exit...wait til the thrill is gone then head down the road that leads AWAY from her.
Just imagine right around the corner there is a great lady who so nice and sweet like me!!

Never hit back, if you do, you would be charged too. These days, if the person doing the hitting is a female, they go to jail, if it's both the guy and the gal, they both go to jail (in most states), it doesn't matter who started it. Don't ever hit a person in a domestic situation, even if you aren't convicted, it stays on your record and causes all sorts of trouble for you for the rest of your life.

Oh and once something like this starts, GET OUT and don't go back to that person, they have a problem. Eventually you will be arrested even if it's all her fault.

Leave, just like any woman should leave who is physically abused.
Of course, we all know that this sometimes is not easily done - most of the time it is hard for anyone to understand why a person would stay in a relationship like that...call a hotline???

You should absolutely call the police. I don't believe it is ever right to hit in a relationship. My best friend just had this happen last night (after being married 26 years), and I am furious that he did not call the police. The important thing is---if it happens once, it will happen again. So, don't ever allow it to get started.

End the relationship NOW. If she continues to come arround and to be physically abusive when she does get at restraining order. Call the cops. Press charges.

I would not take any physical abuse from her in general. There is no excuse for abuse.
As such it doesn't matter which gender it is that does the abuse. It goes for both ways.
I would throw her out, put a restraining order against her if she ever does that to you. No one deserves to be abused.

I firmly believe if someone can hit they can get hit right back. This dosent include those who are mentally challenged and dont understand or children but even a women. She's taking advantage because she knows you wont retaliate and thats not fair to you. problem with hitting her back is she can call the police(what you should be doing) and youll be the one punished. Your a man, she's a woman. Does she deserve a seriouse beatdown from you? Yes. But it wont be worth your punishment. best to leave her, dont put up with it. Walk away, dont look back and get yourself a nice girl.

If you need to call the cops if needed, and just walk away from the situtation, its not like it would get better, out of any thing it'll get worst

If she is abusing you then definetly call the law. Females are starting to be cracked down on more and more at least here where I live.
