Technically it Should not !!!

Most Probablyt it Does not Count also. The Computers that constitute the LAN are a Subset of the WAN( I am Assuming That is how your Network Topology is), so the content that you Download from the LAN, if it is physicaly Seperated from the WAN, Should not Count in the WAN Download Volumes.

But if you notice that it is still Using up you WAN Download Volumes then you can use the Concept of Virtual Private Networks to Isolate your LAN from the WAN. That Way these two things become TWO seperate Entities Thought Connected.

BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS >>

You Wil not be Charged if you Download from the SERVER or another Client on a LAN.

Both server and client within LAN? No it is not WAN download volume.

If you meant a client within LAN accessing a server via VPN on Extranet, it goes through WAN and Internet so it is a download volume.

Short answer No.

As long as the network traffic (downloading) is only between two computers on your LAN (computers in your home) then it will not county toward your WAN (internet) download volumes.

Hi
if you don't download via an ISP through the LAN than it won't cost you any thing.
