I love The L Word. It makes me unbelievably happy everytime I watch it b/c it brings all kind of emotions. But it also seems unreal b/c of the lesbians everywhere. They make it looks so easy to find a woman. At work, at school...etc...Like Bette for example, even at the CA University...Is it true that it's that easy?

To me the whole show seems unreal! Have you ever noticed how much they have sex???? Damn, I dont think its that easy, but when you are in a community that has a lot of open LGBT, and you are, then you surround yourself with those people......
I love it too, I am an adict...lol... it doesnt show where I live so I have to wait for it to come out on DVD...

I think it's sort of like any show. Don't get me started on soap operas in general... which the L-Word sort of is. On Friends, it was like a revolving door of love interests. That was unreal. It's hard for singles of any orientation to find mates, long term or otherwise.

Depends on what city and neigborhood you're living in. Areas of NYC, Miami, New Orleans, Chicago, L.A., and of course SF are gonna be very gay. Much less so in Poughkeepsie & Toledo.

It's not just unreal for my country ( Greece )....it's extra terrestial!!!!!!I love the show though and wish someday I can live in a place where I can kiss my partner in public and not being judged for my choices....

Yes it seems unreal because it is based on anti natural situations that are abnormal to experience in your real life.

Well it is TV--and they are all beyond beautiful too. But I love the show.
