Where? Dawson Creek BC? Or Dawson City? I hope no one was named after the creek because it's gross. Polluted and shallow.

the creek was named after him because he, Jen, and his best friend/love interest Joey lived on the same creek--and throughout the series the 2 of them fought for Dawson's attention
