Instead of giving blind people a dog and risking them treading in sh*t on the pavement or slipping over on some discarded fast food rubbish left by yobs, why don't they get given little chariots that are pulled by guide dogs like in "Ben Hur" only smaller. Think about it you could pimp them up and people like Stevie Wonder could have one pulled by 4 or 6 dogs in sparkly coats.Cool or what?

Cool but not very practical. The chariot would get stuck at the first kerbstone or step it came to. Be funny to see Stevie Wonder mushing down the High Street in a sparkly chariot.

Not really what you would be doing is making them more dependent on the animal, most blind people can get by with out the dog but having one makes it just a little bit easier on them.

I think it's a great idea, except for the fact that the blind people need some sort of exersize. Most won't go anywhere unless they really have to. Maybe your idea could get them to go out more often, though, I don't know.

You get mad points for creativity and vision, but the cost and practicality makes it ultimately not so good an idea...I'm not sure if you're just being funy, but, hey, it's always good having more people, not less, thinking up new ways to help the disabled...and why shouldn't they have pimped rides, too? Keep thinking big!
