So far I remember, Chobits is the only one I remember where the girl acted like she wasn't loaded with sofware. Chii was loaded with one though, but she was set to acted like without software so she can look for her 'significant other'.

Anyway. If you looked for a story about a girl being teach, there are several:

Hand Maid May
Angel Tales / Tenshi no Shippo / Angel's Tail
Nuku-Nuku
Saber Marionette J
SoltyRei (if you considered an old man who lost his daughter as a boy)

And lets not forget the earliest TV series that kind of started this all, not Japanese animation, but they are the ancestors:

Bewitched
I Dream of Jeannie

Elfen Lied had that kind of thing. but it mostly involved decapitations and dissembowlments. But if you prefer that kind of thing then you should watch.

Onegai Twins did have it. But i didnt think much on Onegai Teacher having it because it involved a female teacher teaching HIM stuff.

Probally the one with this theme that i prefer would be Ugly Yet Beautiful world. Oh and Outlaw Star did have this kind of thing as well so i highly recommend that.
