ichat and Aim touble?

Question

every time i use my AIM account with ichat it works the first time perfectly but if i sign off and try to sign on a second time it does not connect it says i loose the connection with the host but if i restart the computer and try it again it works the first time but then does the same thing again what could be the problem i have the latest version of ichat its ichat 3.1.6? if i try it on my imac it works good but if i try it on my macbook then it does not work i have a later version of ichat on my imac

I've been hearing that AIM has been giving a lot of people fits here lately. I haven't experienced this. When you sign off are you just quitting out of the iChat program? Say like, hitting the Command + Q or are you really logging out by hitting Command + L.

I just quit the iChat program and then hit the iChat logo from the dock when I want to reconnect. I've never messed with the log in or log off commands. Sorry that I can't be any more help. Best of luck to you.
