honestly, check no. reason is you have used ecstacy in the past which is a big no no when it comes to being a peace officer. deny and deny. you will be given a lie detector test and in this case still deny to the end. worse case scenario is that you will show that their is some deception on that partcular question and it will be up to the committee to decide to hire you or not.
let me digress a little bit. if you say yes to ecstacy or lsd, you will be denied on the spot and will not be allowed to continue with the hiring process. those 2 drugs are "eliminating" factors. so that is why i tell you to say no and continue with hiring process because there is still a chance you will get hired considering all things being equal, you are a good candidate. everyone knows someone who was a druggy in school and is now a cop or co or something. that's because they denied it, in this case honesty isn't the best policy.

Hey Skipper747, hate to break this to you, but that "6 pack" is a drug. You're not anti-drugs, you are just anti drugs that you don't happen to use. A hung over pilot is not much of an improvement over a stoned pilot. A lot of people experiment with drugs when young - (including our past 3 presidents). That's a change from the 70's when almost everyone experimented with drugs. If trying drugs in college disqualified you from becoming a pilot, the number of pilots between the age of 50 and 60 would be decimated! Make no mistake about it, if he is going to fly a plane - commercially or as private pilot - he has to make a choice between doing that or doing drugs, he can't do both. Having said that, if he has not been using drugs for years and has no arrest record, he should be able to pass the physical.

I would definetly lie. If they have no way to prove that you've done any drugs, than don't give than any reason to believe otherwise. Don't risk your future by telling the truth (haha never thought i'd say that).

If you want the job, that's a "no" question. As long as you're not on anything now, you'll pass the drug test and everything will be okay.
