a million. bear in techniques that with absolute fee there are (exceedingly much) constantly 2 possibilities. in this occasion the two probability is: -2x + 3 = x - 15 and -2x + 3 = - (x - 15) = -x + 15 fixing each and every , we get: x = 6 or x = -12

x^2 + x - 42 = 0
(x+7)(x-6)=0
x+7=0
x=-7
x-6=0
x=6
x= 6, -7

15x^2 + 16x - 7 = 0
(3x-1)(5x+7)=0
3x-1=0
x=1/3
5x+7=0
x=-1.4
x=1/3, -7/5
