No, he wouldn't be happy. Look at the link below to what MLK might have said.

This is a valid question. However, you have to look at how the black race as a whole has changed. During the Dr. King days they were fighting for equality and willing to do what it takes to gain it. Now, African Americans have similar leaders as Dr. King, but as a whole, are less willing to change. The most popular Black icons are people like 50 cent and the immortalized Tupac. Sure there are handfuls of African Americans who look up to better leaders such as Bill Cosby, but generally speaking there is still a large gap. Bill Cosby spoke at a NAACP meeting about a year ago about this very issue... search for it.

Personally i think he would be disgraced with alot of black people these days, as we as a people have fallen apart, rather than become united. However, his dream has come true. white people and black people live harmoniously with each other, only racists are exempt from that. In terms of a leader, that can be argued as a good or bad solution. In this day and age, who has the right to tell anyone what to do in life? the life of a black person is indeed better than it used to be, but what we need is someone to teach our children the history of our ancestors, so that we do not forget who we are, and where we came from. The biggest crime is not the crime rate, or black people who create a bad image for the rest of us. the crime is that if we do not teach the younger generations, we will for get our true identities as black people.

People don't need a million man march. They need to decide to do for themselves. Get those million men from the march to take a walk in their own communities and see what needs to change then take that next step and put those changes in motion. The first step to change is right inside everyone of us.
