Honestly, things aren't that simple with only a recipe. It can be identified and copied (or just closely copied) by a larger company if it is that good.

You'd have to build a brand, and probably need a couple more recipes to start. You'd have to start small, making batches in your home and selling them at places like swap meets until you can save up the capital to establish/register a company name, protect your recipes, get a professional package and start pitching your product two ways.

You can start by trying to sell it to specialty stores and geting them to stock it on their shelves. IT would involve a lot of footwork. Some big stores don't like this though because it adds another SKU to their shipments and need to monitor. ALternatively, you can try making a pitch to a distributor, who would try to get the product for you into bigger stores along with the other things they provide to the store. THey will take a cut though.

The stores might expect you to make changes to the packaging, or ingredients. You'll need to conduct market research to determine if other people like it, what they like about it, if they'd be willing to buy it over other brands, what they like about the packaging, if they'd be willing to take a shot at it over the other more well know brands when they're picking it off the shelf, how much they'd be willing to pay.

ITs a long journey.
