___Take a good hard look at your work performance and behavior, and ask yourself if there's any truth to your co-workeers' criticisms. This might require you to "translate" what they say into the kind of language a friend might use in trying to give you constructive criticism. If you carry your share of the workload, and your errors are within the normal range, you should be able to get through this OK.
___Once you feel you've examined the matter judiciously, talk to your boss. Just tell him or her that you feel somewhat excluded by your co-workers, and that it's interfering with your work. If you're basically concientious at work, your boss should be concerned. It's best not to mention names. You're not going in there to play blame games; You're going there to make your work situation tolerable. Ask his or her advice, and you could gain an ally.
___If you have already honestly thought about your work and behavior beforehand, you can talk to your boss with more confidence and less defensiveness.
___Perhaps you can get assigned to different duties or to a different department.
___If your boss turns out to be someone who doesn't respond sympathetically, and there's no one over his or her head you can go to for a transfer, start thinking about looking for a new job.

Normally, your work wpeaks for itself. If you're doing a good job at work, your boss knows this without input from others.

If your co-workers don't like you, then why are you listening to the one that's telling you what everyone else is saying about you? Odds are, they're talking, too.

When you stop worrying about what people say about you and how they feel about you, you will be able to live with it just fine. Things like that only bother me if there's any truth to it. Never give people power over your happiness or you well-being. Stay true to yourself and you can't go wrong, even if everything around you is chaos.

It sounds possible that 1)they may be jealous, and/or 2) they don't think you want to get along. Do you go to work with a good attitude, to try to get along with other people? Your outlook really has a way of swaying other people. I work at a place where most of the people have short hair. I am one of the few guys there with long hair, and I'm surprised at how well I'm liked, despite the fact that I may look like a hippy. lol But I think a lot of it is that I'm there to help them, and do the best job that I can, and I think it shows with my attitude. Hope this helps.

I would ignore them. Also depending how bad it gets it could be considered harassment. I would go to your boss let him know. Also tell him that if he does nothing about it then u will contact the labour board. It's illegal and they can't get away with it. No one should feel unwanted in a work place.

Maybe you should forget about it for a while and later on try to be nice and helpful around the office. Try to make some new friends there. If they dont like you that shouldnt mean a thing to you. Who cares what they say? But try your hardest to make friends and make the best of it. You never know who could turn out to become one of your best friends!

Do your job better than them. Give them no reason to give them any vailidity. AND kill them with kindness. Be as friendly as you can to them. If you do your job better than them (that is you get more done than they do) and you are as cheesy to them as you can be, when it comes time for your review with your boss, ask their opinion of you and your work. If you've done the best you can and you don't get a raise and positive feedback, start looking for another job. There's lot's of places that are for working and then there are places that it just seems like a day care center for people that have nothing better to do with themselves.

It's time to find another job and/or transfer. You shouldn’t have to work in a hostel or stressful environment. Next take a look at yourself and see if you contributed to the situation in any way.
Speaking from personal experiences…

I know it hurts - but take a higher road than them. Their gossip will come back and bite them in the petootie one day. Someone told me once that when you hear someone talking about you - think "What you say about me is none of my business". If they're spreading lies and slander - then I think you should bring it up with H/R. Good luck!! I'm on your side!!:)

Say something to them It should be enough for them to respect you and shut the hell up... Just because you're under the wing of your Boss doesn't mean you have to be silent about it.

Just do what you know you are supposed to do. If you know specifically what is being said about you and who is saying it, ask those people to help you improve in that area. I know you said they hate you. But don't let them know that you know that they hate you. Smile at them. Don't allow their actions to make you bitter. If your objective at work is to do what is required and to do a great job, you have no reason to be intimidated by people who envy you.
