I really dont think people have to wait for marriage to have sex but in my opinion i think its best to wait until your in a serious relationship instead of sleeping around and possibly catching an std from someone u really dont know that well.maybe im just old fashion but this is how i feel. anybody agree with this..by the way im 38,happily married 16 yrs and my hubby was my first and i was his first

I think you are wise and that's the approach I will take when I talk to my kids about relationships and sex....8 and 6 are still a bit too young for that talk though.

I agree with you 100% except I am now divorced after a 25 year marriage and I have decided I would like to wait until I remarry to have sex again. Didn't wait the first time even though my husband had been the only man, but it sure did ruin our honeymoon night. and I have always regretted that choice to not wait.

I personally agree. Yes you should wait until you find that special someone. My wife and I have been married 13 years and we were each others firsts. It meant more to use waiting than just jumping in the bed. Now a days kids have sex buddies. Thats not what it was meant for. God himself made it to be sacred between a husband and wife. Not for fun

Personally I believe that sex before or outside of marriage is wrong. And I think people should wait till married to have sex.

I'm waiting for marriage. I think it's disrespectful to the one you end up marrying to have slept with other people. You bring every person you've ever slept with into your marriage bed. But I'm old fashioned too.

I feel the same way and I waited a long time to have sex with my wife and it was well worth it. I had sex before I met her but nothing compares. I felt very special and the sex was heavenly.

Waiting is worth it!!! I waited almost 23 years to have sex with my now husband on our wedding night... it's very worth it -- it shows self-respect, respect for the one you love the most, and I think that waiting truly helps build character in a person. It's tough, but I've learned SOOO much about my husband... he's wonderful, and I am SOOO glad I waited!! :)

I feel it is best to wait until marriage because of the commitment and joining of two bodies... I would much rather save myself for my future husband than to sleep with alot of guys or men and be used up before marriage... To me marriage is sacred and so is intimacy.. JMHO though.
