mmhm so im failing a class [math] but of course i lie because im immature and awesome like that. what do i do [yeah i know, study do ur best yadda yadda] and how am i supposed to tell my mom??? [shes the 'get a B get grounded for a year' type....] help on breakin it to her that her prodigy is a lil slower than she thot... =[

i know exactly what you mean
my mother expects so much from me and even though i try... in math i just cant do well.
i have a D in Calculus and i just don't know how to tell her either but i would just break it to her
tell her that you just DON'T understand it
that you try and try but math is just not your thing
of course she will be upset because you didn't mention anything to her before
but maybe she will help you
or try to get someone to help you
that would be awesome
tutoring after school
or asking a friend
who is really smart in math to help you
and pay them
but just concentrate because
in the end its going to affect you.

explain to her that you are having problems--then you ask her to help you.
this gets her involved so much and pleases her that you have asked HER to help you she will probably forget about the grounding.
