what's the scariest thing that happened to you on the ward and what did you learn?

i am not a nurse, but i do work closely with nurses in a hospital.

the scariest incident was when i arrived at work around 530am and there was really no one around. a woman got off the elevator with her sick daughter who then passed out. i heard a thump than a woman screaming for help. i didn't know what to do so i ran for help to find a nurse. it was just so scary because i have never seen anything like that. what made it even worse was that she was a 9 year old cancer patient.
