Yes. My father is a mechanic who used to work on cars but now fixes buses. However, I believe a mechanic who works on larger vehicles like buses requires some additional training and certification than just a regular mechanic would need.

Of course a car mechanic can fix a bus my father worked on semi trucks for 11 years and all he had was his automotive mechanic certificate.

Well the car mechanic who fixes my car, fixes mini buses too. So I guess that would be a yes depending on how experienced the mechanic is.

depends on what kind of bus. if its a school bus, some state regs require a license to work on school busses. just depends.a good tech should be able to fix most anything, with even a little tech support. like alldata or mitchell on demand.

they should be able to,a bus isn't any different than any thing else,just bigger,but yes a good mechanic should be able to fix one,,good luck i hope this help,s.

if its a diesel and he knows about diesels, then sure. most mechanics have a good idea about all vehicles , or they should.
