what does it mean when someone calls you sub-servient(sp)?

Tell me what I need to do to overcome this situation. How can I tell if it's me or it it's them?

They believe that you are somehow "beneath" them. Limit or eliminate your time with this person and realize that they're the one with the problem, not you.

Subservience means that you are cowed , that you don't stand up for yourself, you're not assertive enough. Let me put it to you this way, calling you subservient is not really a compliment.
