Halo multiplayer will always rule. Halo 2 popularity came from the ability to play on Xbox live. I don't think it is possible, but if Halo could be re-release as Xbox live compatible it would make Halo2 obselete.

This is kind of a trick question. Halo was and always will be the best xbox game ever. It was with no doubt the best game released with any console. It also revolutionized the FPS genre, with amazing gameplay and graphics (for its time at least). BUT... Halo 2 was an overhyped game that fell short on the campaign expectations. And then people figured out ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. Now, without Halo 2, many of the upcoming popular games that focus on multiplayer, would never have been the same. As Halo did with its campaign, Halo 2 revolutionized the online experience. But, I would ultimately choose Halo, because you couldn't have had Halo 2 without Halo.

i am waiting for halo 2 for the pc. its coming out soon, i think halo 2 is better.

tie cuz halo 2 has cool campaign and halo has good multiplayer maps and other cool stuff
